Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the SMS voting service provided by Majestic Media Collective for the From the Mind to Page Writer’s Awards and any other competitions hosted by the organization.
By participating in the competition or voting process, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Voting Service
Voting is conducted through a premium SMS line.
Each SMS sent to the designated shortcode will be counted as one valid vote.
Free SMSs do not apply and will not be accepted as valid votes.
Charges
SMS charges are billed at R2.00 per SMS.
Standard network fees, administration fees, and/or additional charges may also apply depending on your service provider.
The cost of the SMS is borne solely by the sender.
Competition Dates
The voting service will run from 1 October 2025 to 28 November 2025.
Any votes sent outside of these dates will not be counted, though charges may still apply.

Fairness and Integrity
The organizers reserve the right to verify votes and disqualify any fraudulent, manipulated, or suspicious entries.
Decisions made by Majestic Media Collective regarding the outcome of the voting process are final and binding.
Limitation of Liability
Majestic Media Collective will not be held liable for any technical failures, network issues, or delays beyond our control.
Participants are solely responsible for ensuring their SMS is successfully sent, received, and billed.
Premium Rate Service Terms and Conditions
Majestic Media Collective runs a premium-rated SMS line for Voting for writers awards competition. To use the service, send an SMS with the keyword MTP to 34877.
SMSs are charged at R2 per SMS.
Network fees and/or administration fees may be charged and free SMSs do not apply.
